"When I have good bread (which ours is), I need good butter. I need to know that if I’m toasting a slice of walnut raisin, I have the right stuff to put on it; I need to know that if I’m serving bread and butter with dinner, the butter makes the grade. Our butter is made by our friends at Ronnybrook Farm, in Pine Plains NY, and they run the loveliest dairy I know. The resulting butter, carefully made and high fat, is awesome."
